    Hi every one,
    I'm new in oracle database.
At the moment my system has one primary database and one physical standby database. I have just built one more standby physical database and I want to configure data guard and related configuration to sync data from primary server to both standby servers.

Can anyone show me steps or a guide to do that?
    Thanks.

You seem to be attempting a STARTUP [OPEN, READONLY] instead of a STARTUP MOUNT.

The blog you are reading does NOT show a STARTUP [OPEN, READONLY] of the Standby. After the STARTUP NOMOUNT, it does a DUPLICATE and then configures DataGuard broker -- meaning that the database is in MOUNT state only.

You've already been told that the new Standby needs Recovery and that is exactly what the DG Broker "enable database" will start doing.
