Full-Time opportunity for Senior Functional Analyst with Oracle Federal Financial experience located in Washington, DC Responsibilities: • Provide SME advice to the requirements, design and development team • Analyze and Prepare requirements, design documents and • Interact with staff that manage and provide technical support for applications that will interface with the new system • Assist with other SDLC documentation such as operations manuals and users guides • Occasionally train users on the application • Assist with user acceptance testing • Provide interface expertise between functions and needs of the oracle application and a number of other applications that send data to and receive data from the oracle application • Provide interface with the security architecture team, the data center team • Assist with test planning • Provide post production assistance Skills: • Hands on experience with GL, AR, AP and Federal Admin applications • 75 to 80 % functional – 20 to 25% technical experience is required • Extensive (minimum 6-8 years) Oracle 11i federal financials experience on multiple projects in federal government organizations. Experience will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fed admin and Discoverer reporting • Clear understanding and hands on experience with GL, AP, Fed Admin and AR accounting setups • Excellent verbal skills, including strong writing skills • Experience across the entire standard development lifecycle • Significant experience in requirements development and traceability through the SDLC of an application – from requirements definition to design to development and testing and post production validation • Experience writing functional/business requirements and preparing functional designs Highly Desirable: • Proficiency with Rational tools • Experience performing as a functional analyst for a financial management O&M project, preferably involving loans • Degree in computer science or business or accounting or related discipline • Experience with application training and preparing user manuals • Experience Oracle R12, 11g, 10g, Oracle tools and systems- TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL Experience: 6 to 8 Years of Oracle Financials. Must have experience with Oracle Federal Financials. Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree. Security Clearance: Should possess minimum a green card to obtain access to facility.
