hi, if i am using any form in oracle applications, how can i find the underlying tables where the data record is stored. For example, if i am using the requisition form to fill a purchase requisition, how to know which are the underlying tables?

    thanks for your help :)

hi just go to help-->Record History and in most cases it will show you the view which the form is using to query the records. You can then open the view and see the script and you can get all the tables.

Or you can as well setup tracing for the form and trace particular operations -> HELP -> DIAGNOSTICS -> trace xxxx

ya tat's right but then analyzing a trace file with TKPROF may not be so easy for new users. but anyone wanting to learn debugging of issues should learn using TKPROF
