    Hi

I have one query in which where clause condition join is as follow

    interface_line_attribute6(+) = to_char(l_line_id)

    which is causing performance issue..

if i remove the to_char, the query not fetching any data.

Is there any options to improve performance.

    Very difficult to say Malli,

For any performance related question, you need to run the explain plan and post it.

I think your performance issue is with the outer join (which can result in a full table scan). You could put a function-based index on l_line_id and see if that provides any improvement.
