Table Value sets

    Hi all,
    How can we restrict the duplicate records from table value set???
    The datatype is varchar2..

    I would say, create a view with a select distinct and make your value set on this view! :)

    hehe.. i have been working on quite a few value sets last few days. Did all sorts of permutations and combinations, like creating views for value sets, using $FLEX$ etc. etc.

    Just one suggestion is that if you define your custom view or procedure or whatever other object in apps database, make sure to follow a proper naming convention. Like xyz_view_viewname etc. Ideally all your custom objects should begin with the same prefix so that migrating from one instance to another is easier! :)
