    Hi,

I am trying to define a new depreciation method as per the French Double declining rate.

The Life is 10 years and the Effective Rate that I want to setup in Oracle is as follows:

    Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Year 4 Year 5 Year 6 Year 7 Year 8 Year 9 Year 10
    0.225 0.1351 0.1047 0.0812 0.0629 0.0542 0.0542 0.0542 0.0541 0.1744

I want to calculate depreciation monthly so for example if I have an asset with Cost = 100 at the end of year 1 accumulated depreciation should be 100 * 0.225 = 22.5 so monthly depreciation amount for Year 1 should be calculated as (22.5/12) = 1.875

I am trying to setup a Depreciation Method with type Table to do this but cannot get it right.

Any ideas on how can I do it?
