Would anybody happen to know if the Oracle Database or any of its tools is capable of sending email that is digitally signed w/ a soft cert? I know several of the Oracle tools have the ability to send the email, usually using the server's SMTP processes. The question is how to get the digital signature applied.

Or perhaps this should be a question for a forum of the Server O/S in question?

    Thanks all,

    CJ

Thanks! I'll forward this along. It would appear there are a lot of pieces to this process. I'm still of the opinion that ultimately it will be the O/S mail engine that has ultimate control...so on a non-Windows server it's probably tied to the S/MIME configuration. Obviously the certificate angle is not my strong suit. ;-)
