Security in oracle database

    Hello everyone,

    Could i get anyone's opinion on this matter,i have started to learn oracle but have been recently put off by this article at databasesecurity.com/dbsec/comparison.pdf
    i am thinking of switching to SQL server. Any suggestions.
    PS i would rather stick to oracle just want to get experienced opinion.

    Hahaha... that was a funny article. Surely that guy is either a Microsoft marketing agent or has serious grudge against Oracle.

    Simple advice: Both Oracle and SQL server are excellent databases. They have their strengths and weaknesses. I would say Oracle though is superior, but you can contend that. For an unbiased and decent comparison, see this whitepaper
