    Hi all,

    Is it possible to schedule a concurrent program using PLSQL. I have a procedure that calls a concurrent program using fnd_request.submit_request().

    Now i want to schedule the same concurrent program for future date. I tried the same code giving sysdate+1 as parameter but it didn't work
    Is this the right methodf to schedule

    vamsi

    hi vamsi, maybe this is a silly question but why can't you schedule the concurrent request from frontend?

    this is a part of my logic. I am calling this concurrent program in after insert trigger.

    Hi Vamsi,

    sysdate+1 did not work because the start_time parameter needs to be in a a particular date format. Using the following format will allow the request to be scheduled in the future.

    Code (Text):
    start_time => to_char(sysdate + 30/12/60/60,'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS')
    So if you want sysdate+1 give start_time as
    Code (Text):

    start_time => to_char(sysdate+1 + 30/12/60/60,'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS')

    yes if you specify a future date in proper format to fnd_request.submit_request for the start_date parameter it will run the request at the specified time and date. Try it out in a test instance.
