    Hi All,

I have two groups with data link in rdf.

I create one formula column in first group which using a column from second group in it.

    So the following error occurred.

REP-1517: Column 'CF_TEST' references column 'dep_retirements', which has incompatible frequency

dep_retirements is a column from second group.

But I created this formula column CF_TEST in first group.

So how can I achieve this?

Re: REP-1517: Column 'CF_TEST' references column 'dep_retirements', which has incompa

    Hi DTSGuy,

I know the error coming because of second group column, but I don't want to change that.

Like xmlp notation is there any option in rdf?

In xmlp through notation we can display columns which are not in current group.
Like same way I need another group column in current group.
    How can do this?

But you're not just displaying the column in the current group...you have it in a formula and the report can't resolve the formula due to the frequency mismatch.

I suspect what you really need is a PL/SQL process in the report to do what your formula is trying to do...that will take the frequency issue out of the equation and then you can display it wherever you want. But that's just a guess...

Re: REP-1517: Column 'CF_TEST' references column 'dep_retirements', which has incompa

    Ex: ename,Sal in first group
    ename,comm in second group

    data link between two groups

I am displaying ename, sal, comm in current report

now i need netsal column which is sal+comm

so i took formula col CF_TEST in first group. in that :SAL+:COMM

I can do it in rtf directly. But I need in rdf only.
