9i is almost obsolete now, you will be better off doing it in 11g.

    Lokesh,

For certification, first you have to decide, which track you want to pursue.
Oracle provides certification in two tracks: Development and DBA. Developer track is more in PL/SQL coding and development, while DBA is database administration.

Being a Developer Professional (OCP), I would give you the path for OCP

    OCA (Associate level)
    1. 1Z0-051 (Oracle 11g SQL)
    2. 1Z0-144 (Oracle 11g PL/SQL)

    OCP (professional level)
    1. 1Z0-146 (Advanced PL/SQL)

Qualifying the above papers, you will be full fledged Oracle professional

    Regards
    Saurabh
