    Good Day Guys,

I am thinking of doing the R12 exams and i have been on oracle site to check the requirements.

Please can anyone correct me, is it essential to do Oracle virtual class or not?

    Thanks

Which particular exam are you talking about?

    Hello,

You will need to do that for the 1Z0-215, 1Z0-216 and that series of exams along with the Ebusiness Suite R12 Essentials in order to get the Certificate as per the Hands on requirement.

The new certs of 5 series 1Z0-518 etc are product specialist Certs and do not require hands on course requirement.

ERP requires you to be hands on in the real sense. Doing a Live Virtual Class or Instructor Led Training or attending in house is all the same from a standpoint of its usefulness. You are better of avoiding courses with this hands on requirement as pay off is not guaranteed. You are better of going for new ones without this requirement if you feel getting certified is going to help.

Honestly believe not much use. They will rip you to bits and make you feel like an alien when you go for your first interviews especially Indians on the Interview panel.

Those days are gone when they judge you by your confidence and what you say and how you present yourself. Its becoming more technical and more object oriented and more reliance on networking to land openings than just having a cert.
    Good luck
