Hello. I have a physical standby database which is several weeks behind the primary db due to poor network. The network has been improved and archivelog
is shipping on time now. The problem is some of the old archive logs are missing. Aso some datafiles were created before the network link was improved.
I understand well that a roll frward from the last scn on physical db would resolve this gap. my question
is the would the datafilescreated on primary which are not on physical be created during roll forward? or I simply need to restore the datafies separately

What you should be doing is applying an incremental backup of the primary to the standby. This will get the standby back in synch with the primary; I've done this a number of times and it works quite well.
