    Hi Jagadekara,

Your request is not quite clear:
    - Concurrent request program: Java program ? any details on configuration ?
    - Does it produce a report based on an XML template (rtf + data template ?) ...

I suppose it's in Oracle EBS - can we have the name of the concurrent request (if it's a standard EBS request).

    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajen

    Hi Rajen,

My Concurrent Program Name: XX General Ledger Subledger Details Report
    Type: Java Concurrent Program
    Executable: XDODTEXE
    Format: XML

It has .rtf and in data definition .xml file data template is there.

    It's a custom report.

So in that .xml file I find Query. In that they used &p_party_columns in select. I want to know from where data is coming to that column?

    Hi Jagadekara,

The "&" before variables are used to indicate the lexical parameters (similar to Dynamic SQL queries) in XML Publisher data templates and are generally used to add dynamic WHERE clauses or ORDER BY clauses in the SQL statements.

If you check the template, you'll certainly find the name of the Package generating these variables in the "defaultPackage="...package_name" area. These dynamic variables are initialised through the instruction which looks like <dataTrigger name="beforeReportTrigger" source="...package_name.beforereport" statements. If you open the "defaultPackage", you'll find all the logic behind the setting of these lexical variables.

    Kind Regards,
    Rajen.
