    Hi,
    Am ramya. I have got some problem in SQL. In my oracle database,
    i got some tables created automatically with funny names , as
    BIN$cWPOnQLpNT3gQAB/AQAa3w==$0
    BIN$cWPOnQLrNT3gQAB/AQAa3w==$0
    BIN$cWPOnQLmNT3gQAB/AQAa3w==$0
    BIN$cPIH26/UFZngQAB/AQBFhw==$0
    BIN$cHe95IEsJt3gQAB/AQBFhw==$0

    The above are tables and are visible when used the data dictionaries tab and user_tab_columns alone. Am also not able to view the contents of these tables even and also not able to DROP THIS TABLES.
    Please help me to clear this issue...
    how to drop them??
    how to view their contents?
    say me some info about these tables..

    [Move this section to Queries Section]

    Actually these tables were dropped from main schema and now resideds in user_recyclebin. These tables can be purged by

    Code (SQL):
    PURGE TABLE "BIN$.............";
    You can get more info from the link

    Check the info in the data dictionary user_recyclebin . All objects in this dictionary are dropped from the mai schema.

    Correct, the recyclebin is a 10g and later feature. You may also clear the entire recyclebin of your objects by:

    SQL> purge recyclebin;

    You need not purge individual objects unless you want to preserve some of the recycled items.

    The recyclebin also allows you to 'flashback' a table to the state before it was dropped:

    SQL> flashback table mytab to before drop;

    You can also rename a table you're restoring through flashback:

    SQL> flashback table mytab to before drop rename to mytab_orig;

    It can be a useful tool.
