    Hello Everyone,
I have experience in developing MS Access Databases for small divisions in large corporations, manly filling gaps of large corporate systems.
I'm interested in Learning Oracle to become more marketable and my Community College is offering courses. In your opinion is Oracle worth the time, energy and is the job outlook for Oracle DBA's still looks promising?

Well as far as learning Oracle is concerned, being an Oracle Professional I would definitely say a huge YES. And yes, the outlook is good for experienced DBAs but you might face a tough time when starting out.

Well, just that it's not that easy getting good placement offers without experience to show.
