Oracle full table scan or index access?

    Hi, I need to help guys, when a full table scan is more favorable access on the index?

    It is impossible to tell that the FTS method bad or good.
    Everything depends on the task.
    If you need to process more than 30% of entries in the table, then it is better to use FTS.
    Indexed access can be used for receiving one or several records, for retrieval AND operations etc.

    If in case of access to the table across the field or to several fields the index isn't created, then oracle will use FTS/FSI(IOT).
    The choice of the data access method is influenced by statistics.
