    hello,

when i want to find the name of any column or value of a field, i have to use the Help-->Diagnostics-->Examine. But is always asks for password. Is there any way to prevent it asking for passsword always?

    thanks

hi juan, it's generally not a good idea configuring diagnostics to work without asking for password. If you must change it set the system profile option Utilities: Diagnostics to Yes at your user level. (Make absolutely sure you don't change it at the Site Level)

When this is set to Yes the user will no longer be prompted for the APPS password when using the Help > Diagnostics > Examine functionality.

To set this profile option do the following:

    1. Connect to Oracle Applications as System Administrator
    2. Navigate to Profiles > System
    3. Select the User checkbox
    4. In the Profile field write Utilities: Diagnostics
    5. Press [Find] button
    6. Set profile option to Yes
