I have been developing a form to be accessed from Oracle Apps, I used an insert statement to insert a row into a custom history table, when I look at the table with toad, there are no rows in it.

I have granted ALL on the table to the APPS user

I have granted ALL on the table to public

I have put in a dummy insert statement in the form, that works in toad.

But still I can't get any data in to the table via the form

    Any ideas?

this may seem silly but did you commit after your insert statement?

Thanks for your help, it turns out I hadn't called APPS.fnd_global.apps_initialize procedure during my initialisation process. Once I did, the inserts worked OK

if the form is developed with using template.fmb , then no need of issuing commit statement.
