I am a user - I ran a report (submitted a request) - GL Account Analysis as a GL user...
Excel output file is set as : SYLK

    my question is:
when I try to View the Output .. it asks me to open the file "yes" or "No" ..... if i click on "yes" it opens up in Excel..... I want to message to have an option to "Save as" instead of just opening it up. I'm not sure if this is how the Oracle is setup or I can change it somewhere in internet explorer option? (IE8)
some of the report are very huge and excel cannot hold all the data.. if i can have a option to save as .. then i can save it to text .. that will be perfect.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Okinawan,

Just try holding Control or Shift or Alt key while you try to click output of the Report.
This will ask for to Save the file.., You can try saving in format wat u like too...
