    Hi,

Need to know if it is technically feasible to have following Oracle Installations on 2 Nodes:-

    Node1:-

    Oracle EE Dataguard Primary (11.2.0.1)
    Oracle SE RAC (Node1) (11.2.0.2)
    Oracle Sun Clusterware (3.3)
Oracle Communications Messaging Exchange server HA (7 U4)

    Node2:-

    Oracle EE Dataguard Standby (11.2.0.1)
    Oracle SE RAC (Node2) (11.2.0.2)
    Oracle Sun Clusterware (3.3)
Oracle Communications Messaging Exchange server HA (7U4)

The 2 machines have good configuration from Memory & Disk Space Standpoint.

Are there any considerations one must take before planning such an installation?

    Many Thanks,
    Prashant

The basic consideration is to ensure there is sufficient disk space and available memory to allow both instances to run efficiently. This may be a usable configuration given the storage and available RAM; it may not depending upon the total number of concurrent users connected to Node 1 through the EE edition database.

You need high speed interconnect and high speed network card on both machine with appropriate swap partitions too. For maintaining RAC, you need to consider good backup policy.
