    Hi,

How to make a normal Oracle apps user , a customer user in iSupport with iSupport business user responsibility.

What is to be done apart from adding "iSupport business user" responsibility?
i would appreciate if anybody can give me detail steps to do it.

    Regrards,
    Mohammed

The following are the detailed steps on creating an iSupport User

How to Create an iSupport End User or Business User Steps to create iSupport user
    -----------------------------
    1. Go to HTML Admin Console (http://<host>:<apache port>/html/jtflogin.jsp).
    2. Click on Register Here link.
    3. Enter details on User Registration page to create either 'End User', for
a single end user or 'Business User' belonging to a company.
    4. Click Submit button when completed.
    5. If registration is for a 'Business User' enter 'Company ID' if company
already exists. If not, enter company information.
    6. Click Submit button to save information.
    7. Return to HTML Admin Console (http://<host>:<apache port>/html/jtflogin.jsp)
    8. Sign in as System Administrator (sysadmin) user.
    9. Query in the Search User box the 'End User' or 'Business User' created
    in Step 3.
    10. Once the user name is retrieved the roles for page permission need to
    be assigned.
    11. Assign 'IBU' roles to the user from the 'Available Roles' box
to the 'Assigned Roles' box. * Other roles may be assigned.
    12. Click Update to save changes.
    13. Sign out of HTML pages.
    14. Login to Oracle Applications with System Administrator responsibility.
    15. Expand 'Profile' and select 'System'.
    16. The 'Find System Profile Values' box appears check the 'User' checkbox and
enter the iSupport user from Step 3.
    17. Enter 'JTF%' in the 'Profile' box and click Find.
    18. JTF_PROFILE_DEFAULT_APPLICATION and JTF_PROFILE_DEFAULT_RESPONSIBILITY
(at user level) set to appropriate values. Use '672' for iSupport
default application and use the responsibility_id for IBU_PRIMARY_USER
    responsilbiity for JTF_PROFILE_DEFAULT_RESPONSIBILITY (example: '52336').
(To find the responsibility_id, navigate to Security -> Responsibility ->
Define, then query the responsibility 'IBU_PRIMARY_USER'. Use Help ->
diagnostics -> Examine, then examine the value for responsibility_id.)
    19. Save changes.
    20. Still in Oracle Applications as System Administrator responsibility,
navigate to Security -> User -> Define.
    21. Query iSupport user by selecting 'View' menu 'Query By Example' then
select 'View' menu 'Query By Example' and 'Run'.
    22. Click in the 'Responsibility' box towards the bottom and select the LOV.
    23. Select 'IBU_PRIMARY_USER'.
    24. Save and exit Oracle Applications.
    25. Test iSupport User by entering the user on the HTML Admin Console in Step 1.

    Wassalaam,

Thanks for detailed reply, but my question was not how to create an iSupport business user.
The question is that I have a normal ORacle apps user created from system administrator responsibility. He has already few responsibilities assigned from OM, CRM modules.
Now is it possible to make this user a iSupport business user for a particular customer, without creating a different user.

    Regards,
    Mohammed
