    Hi
    Brand new to Oracle and oracle apps.

    I understand oracle apps is application express? sometimes know as apex?

    we i have been take on in a new job as a .net developer and the company have a lot of oracle systems.

    The major oracle task is to work out usernames for a certain apps system.

    with in the apps developer interface the logon page has a source of this

    wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login(
    P_UNAME => :p101_USERNAME,
    P_PASSWORD => :p101_PASSWORD,
    P_SESSION_ID => v('APP_SESSION'),
    P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':7'
    );

    and i havent got a clue what it means, can anyone help please?

    thanks in advance

    No, Oracle Apps is not Application Express. Oracle Apps is short for Oracle E-Business Suite.
