    Hi All,

I have created JSP Layout in the Site Studio and updated the Navigations & Repository, I have confgured Apache for redirecting URL, but have not configured Apache Tomcat or any other Web Server.

I am trying to access pages in Browser but it shows blank page without any content.

    Please help.

Do I need to Configure Apache Tomcat or Another Web Server for JSP Layout?

    Please Help,

    Regards,

    Harry

    Re: JSP Layout

    hi

A JSP/Servlet-based web application can be integrated with the Content Server in two ways. One way is to develop it in a remote Servlet container, such as Weblogic, WebSphere, or Tomcat. You can then execute Content Server services with Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) or the Stellent Content Integration Suite (CIS) for J2EE applications.

The second method is to check-in JSPs to the Content Server and then run them with the embedded Tomcat server. Such applications use the idcserver.ServerBean object to execute Content Server services. The methods in this object can be used to perform requests, loop over or display the results, or execute arbitrary IdocScript. You can also bundle several JSPs and Servlets into a standard Web Archive (WAR) file, and deploy that to the Content Server.

hi harmail, what Mark means is that Tomcat is embedded within content server. You need to enable JSP pages execution. To do it

    1. Create a new security group for JSP page execution.
    2. Goto Start-->Content Server-->idc-->utilities-->system properties.

Here click on server tab. There you will find that "Execute Java Server Page (JSP)".

    3. Tick that and give your security group you created.
    4. Now when you will check in JSP pages and click on the web location they will be executed.

    It won't Server Purpose,

Same Blank Page is Coming as Output.

Administation -> JSP Server Web App Admin, Section on Content server shows : No Web Application Found.

    Regards,

    Harry

    Error Occurs:

I have created a Section --- Service, Then I created a Service_Home_Layout as JSP_Layout Type, then I added this layout as primary page for the Section -- Service, Then I Clicked Right Button on the Layout in the Section and Clicked Open Page in Browser From Studio Deigner, It throws following Error:

    Content Server Request Failed
