    Hi All,

I am working on Oracle forms 10g (Windows OS). Our application server is configured in Solaris platform and we are developing form in windows. Is it possible to generate Solaris compatible .fmx in windows? Please help.

    Thanks,
    Pramod

    Hi Pramod,

I don't think it's possible: .fmx are OS dependent.

You need to transfer the .fmb to the Solaris platform (binary mode) and compile it using the Forms compiler; you need to have the proper access (execution rights) on the compiler - I suppose your System Admin. can arrange to provide you the necessary login & access.

    Regards,
    Rajen.

Also keep in mind that Solaris may be case sensitive when it comes to attached libraries. Windows doesn't care...but if the form doesn't work in Solaris, that's the first thing to check.
