    Hi
I was wondering about the INDEX BY options for Associative Arrays with an INTEGER type.
The two options available for this purpose are: BINARY_INTEGER and PLS_INTEGER (do let me know if there is any other type).
I believe PLS_INTEGER uses machine arithmetic. But my general observation in the code I've seen through my career, has been the widespread use of BINARY_INTEGER. Is there any specific reason for this?
Will I see any significant performance increase if I change the type from BINARY_INTEGER to PLS_INTEGER?
    Thanks!

I use both interchangably and find there is no difference in functionality or behaviour.
