in oracle 11gr2 no listener, protocol adapter error

    hi to all,

    i installed oracle 11gr2 in my centos 6.4 desktop pc. after intallation when i given a cmd as to start listener, it ia given an error
    :- TNS-12541: TNS:no listener TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error TNS-00511: Nolistener Linux Error: 111: Connection refused

    cmd is :-
    $ lsnrctl status

    It appears there is a space in the server name:


    Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=kaljayi. centos6.com)(PORT=1521)))

    Correct your configuration files and try again; the space prevents it from recognizing the fully qualified server name.
