import table from a full backup

    hi,

    I have a full DB backup file. i need to import only one table from that.
    Can i go with the normal import command using this backedup file?

    ex: imp SYSTEM/password FIlE=*****.dmp FROMUSER=*** TABLE=****

    here which shud b the fromuser ?

    Please help with your sug

    There are two such parameters.

    fromuser: is the user from which the actual data (table here) has been Exported
    touser : is the user to which the table to be imported.

    Btw, paratemeter that list the tables is TABLES (and not "TABLE")

    imp SYSTEM/password FIlE=fulltabs.dmp fromuser=oldscott touser=scott tables=(emp,dept)
