We are in the process of migrating data from a legacy system to a new oracle apps module. I have imported data into Oracle database tables through SQL Loader by running a Concurrent request at a scheduled time.

Can I run the concurrent requests to import data as soon as the data file
is sent from the legacy system. I cannot schedule the Concurrent Manager
to run at a specific time as i will not know when the data file is being sent, Is there a way to automatically run the Concurrent Manager as soon as the data file is sent from the legacy system?

If you want to start the concurrent request after receiving the files, the best way to achieve this is to build a shell-script that polls for the files, and kicks off the sql*loader when the files arrive. If the processing has to be done in a concurrent request, you can kick off a request with concsub.
