how to remove blankspaces from oracle reports

    hi... i'm having doubt in oracle reports. i passed one sql query for reports and then implemented text in form letter. my form letter content will be the following way:
    /*form letter---------------*/
    &<name>
    &<addr1>
    &<addr2>
    &<addr3>
    &<city>
    My patient having problem in.....(content in my form letter).
    /*--------*/
    now i'm not havind value in addr2,addr3. in output(pdf file) it showing blankspaces i want solution to remove blankspace and city value have to display next to addr1. i need solution for this. please guide me....

    Hi ,

    Use the following option as shown in below screenshot. For the fields what ever you feel they don't get text then we can set this option to remove that extra line.

    So try to use this option for address2 and address3 fields. By this if they both don't have text then they will be removed and the city will be moved up.

    Are you using BI Publisher reporting or Oracle Reports?

    oracle reports.. I'm trying dis for last two weeks. i'm not get any idea in this problem. I'm really waiting for ur valuable reply.....

    Hi ,

    Please check the below attached .rdf file to find out the solution. The file was compressed. Please unzip that and open with your oracle reports and try to implement this solution in your issue (.rdf file).
