    Hi Everyone,

Can any one help me identify the correct Oracle Inventory tables and their respective fields for inserting bulk transactions from a CSV/Flat file ?

I do understand the steps and process of reading a CSV file through a sql statements and a control file, but am just not equipped to write an sql code to ensure the right tables and the right fields are updated (assuming there will be many fields in the tables which may need dummy/default values apart from the standard values like Item number, UOM, Group, Qty, Inventory group, GL account, etc..) Is there any schema that is available to post transactions externally to the application?

    Thanks so much in advance!

    Hi Luther,

Firstly, You need to create staging table to load the data from CSV file. Then we need to do certain validations on the records we inserted into the staging table and if validations are successfully completed then we need to create the record to base tables. This is the process we need to follow.
