    I have 4 blocks on one form, two of them are in a master-detail relationship (in whom I select, insert, delete) and two of them i just want to use as look-up blocks (only select)
    Is it possible to make a button in look-up block that will transfer data in those master-detail blocks?

    As I understand, I can make a block (based on the database table) and then make a button that is a lookup button, it activates a search criteria field in which a can enter some first characters of a name (for example) and then get all the other info from that block (table). Basicly I need some directions on how to make that?

    In my first post I asked something that i don't need, I can do with just this question.
    Thanks for helping.

    Hi Urosh,

    If you want to populate data in the block based on search criteria.
    Step 1 : Create a non data base block with the list of fields you want to search with for example : Name
    Step 2 : Create a button in the non data base block with "find"
    Step 3 : In When Button pressed trigger of button write go_block('DB_block_name'); set_block_property('DB_Block_name',Default_where,'db_block_name.name like ''%name%''');

    it will populate the data in DB block based on default_where condition.

    I hope this will help u..if my understanding is correct.
