how to know who are using my package?

    Hi all,

    I created one pl sql package 5 months back. So some one used my package in their reports.
    So how to know who are using my package?

    Below query will give details of procedures/function/packages that is calling your package.

    Code (SQL):

    SELECT  *
    FROM    ALL_SOURCES
    WHERE   UPPER(text) LIKE '%Your Package Name in upper case%';

    Code (SQL):

    SELECT * FROM all_dependencies ud
    WHERE ud.referenced_name = 'your package name'
          AND
          ud.referenced_type = 'PACKAGE';
     
    OR

    Code (SQL):

    SELECT * FROM dba_dependencies ud
    WHERE ud.referenced_name = 'your package name'
          AND
          ud.referenced_type =  'PACKAGE';

    But your query will useful for if any body used my package in their package,procedure and function. But I want to know if any body used my package in their reports.

    Your query gives me only one row which is showing my package name in NAME and REFERENCED NAME columns

    Hi Jagadekara,

    Since RDF reports are referenced from server during run time, I don't think it is possible to get details of which all reports are using a specific package from database.
