    Hi,

Can anyone share the steps on how to implement SSL in UCM 10gR3.

Architecture of UCM is both UCM and Apache resides on the same server. If I implement incoming SSL in Apache, and try to access UCM thru https it always throws https error.

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks,

Steps needed to setup the Content Server to use SSL are as follows....
    1. Open the file <UCM>/config/config.cfg

    2. Change the value for HttpServerAddress=http:// ... to https://....

    3. Add the config entry UseSSL=true

    4. Restart the Content Server

    5. Start the Admin Applet Weblayout Editor

    6. Update the Portal Page

    7. If you are using the Folders component make the above config changes to these two files.

    <UCM>/data/components/folders/config.cfg

    <UCM>/data/components/folders/install.cfg

    8. Restart the content server after all changes have been made.
