    Hi All,

We had developed an report using Chart (Bar Chart) and now when we run the application we were able to see Bars as output. Now users are expecting to drill down that bar chart as when they click on Bar line they want to display the details of that line as table in the same page. Please guide us doing this if anyone does.

Assuming your query is of the following format :
    Code (SQL):
    SELECT NULL "Link",
    name "Label",
    COUNT(*) "Value"
    FROM mytable
    GROUP BY name
Then all you need to do is replace the NULL with the column name, in this case, NAME.

After that, go to the Action Link region of the Chart Definition and fill in the appropriate values. Note that you will need to build that secondary report first so you have something to link the first report to as well as passing in values.

If we have 2 values as following query does, then how can we achieve this.

In your query...replace the NULL w/ the value you want to link with. That will allow you to 'LINK' the report to another page. Create the drill down report first w/ a page item to hold the passed value. Then go back and alter the NULL w/ the column to pass and directly below that, there should be a region to define the link value to pass, page to go to and page item to populate.

    Hi DTSIGuy,

Can you please provide with an example which shows 2 bars for single X-Axis record and needs drill down option for both the bars with different navigations for both of them.

You are changing the requirement...you CAN'T have different navigations as those navigations are page based.

    Are you still using :

    SELECT NULL LINK, ... ??
