    Hi

    Until we have indexing level as FULLTEXT indexing below logic was working fine.

    If indexerInfo.m_dID != content dID and countRow =1 then it’s a create action(i.e. first time, new check-in).
    If indexerInfo.m_dID != content dID and countRow !=1 then it’s a check-in action on existing content.
    If indexerInfo.m_dID = content dID then it’s a update(i.e. only metadata update) action.

    But once we change it to METADATA only indexing the above logic fails. In metadata indexing for all these 3 actions it is always coming as indexerInfo.m_dID = content dID and countRow =1.

    Please let me know is how can I differentiate between create, check-in & update actions in METADATA only indexing level. What is the best way.
    Please provide your inputs. It is for custom component development, i have to call different web services for all these 3 actions.

    Thanks,
    Siva

    In what context? Are you in a service handler or filter of some sort?
