    Hello,
In Object oriented Programming there is a class we make to store variables, constants and functions that are used globally throughout the whole Project.Like This we can make a variable/function to use globally throughout whole project in oracle Forms & Reports using pl/sql or not.if this is possible then please tell me how can I make it.

Go to Google and enter 'oracle forms 10g global variable' and examine the hit for the OTN Discussion Forum. That should answer the specific question.

Personnally...I abhor the practice of using globals and do my utmost to avoid them if at all possible.

    HTH,

    Dear,

Initialise your global varibale in this format :GLOBAL.variable := 'Some Value' in initial while opening the form in triggers like when-new-form-instance so that you can use this variable through out the form.
