    Hi everyone,,

I help problem to design my cross validation rules for my client.
My chart of account structure are:
    contains of 6 segment value:
    segment 1: company (1 char)
    segment 2: area (1 char)
segment 3: cost center (3 char)
segment 4: natural account (6 char)
    segment 5: product (1 char)
segment 6: future development (2 chart)

    For example: account code combination:
    1.0.000.100000.0.00

    My cross validation rule are:
    1. The natural account from 100000-399000 & 900000-999999
the area segment & cost center segment must be "0" and "000"

    2. The natural account from 600000-699000 the area segment, the cost center segment, and the product segment must be "1" , "200-299", "1"

    3. The natural account from 700000-899999 the area segment, the cost center segment, and the product segment must be:
    "1", "100-199" ,,"1"
    "1", "300-699",, "1"

My existing cross validation rule designed are:

    Include: 1.0.000.100000.0.00 - 1.Z.ZZZ.ZZZZZZ.Z.ZZ
    Exclude: 1.0.000.600000.0.00 - 1.0.000.899999.0.00
    Include: 1.0.000.100000.0.00 - 1.0.000.399999.0.00
    Include: 1.0.000.900000.0.00 - 1.0.000.999999.0.00
    Include: 1.1.200.600000.1.00 - 1.1.299.699999.1.00
    Include: 1.1.100.700000.1.00 - 1.1.100.899999.1.00
    Include: 1.1.300.700000.1.00 - 1.1.600.899999.1.00

But the code combination such 1.0.000.100000.1.00 - 1.1.200.899999.0.00 - 1.1.400.120000.1.00 can generate from system,

Please help to redesign my cross validation rule, because sometimes I failed to create accounting for some moduls because of this CVR,,

    Regards
    Diana

After the first Include statement then all statements after that are exclusions. You need to change lines 3-7 to be exclusions using the values that should not be valid.
