    Hi,

There is No such option here. You just click the Say Thanks button for correct answer.

But it's not mean that it's closed.

    Yes Reddy

That would be great if a person who posts could have the authority to close his post.

If I post a question, once I received the answer I believe there is no point by keeping that post open. Another scenario is I post the question and I got the solution from myself or from other sources , I post the solution to my question and I could have close my post .

    Your view point please ...!!!

Yes, It's good to have,. Admin should consider this.

But, If I post a question, And I got the solution from one. It's not mean that it's close, because some other have different solution for the same question. Some times it may be more efficient solution than first one.

So If user have close and re open the post option then that's good.

hope admin will consider our suggestions....

I agree with close and re-open option. That is the good one.

    Hi Guys

The thing is, it is always seen that many times people contribute better solutions to a problem at a much later date when the OP may no longer be around. However, since ours is a free and open forum, people searching online for similar problems usually end up on many old such discussions and these vast majority of people who may never post or may even never register benefit from multiple solutions.

Hence we do not have a policy of closing the thread even after the original poster finds an answer.
