How to check no of table created in specific schema

    Hi all,
    I wanted to know how many table i have created in my schema.i have tried with this query but it is giving wrong information.

    Code (SQL):
    sql>SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tab;
    need your help please.

    try all_objects view

    For the connected user's schema the USER_TABLES view is what you want to query. If you're the DBA and want to query the count for somone else's schema use DBA_TABLES and specify the owner in the where clause.
