    Hello Everyone

I am having an issue with some unwanted metadata being display when I check in a file using a specific profile. In the Configuration Manager I have created a profile which has a rule and the rule only contain the Information fields I want to display. This works fine when I check in a file and go to the doc_info page. The problem is when I click on the web location link I see all the information fields. I want to only see the information fields I have included in my rule.

When I check in a new file I have click on "Metadata only" check box so I don't need to attach a file.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can try and create a global rule and hide the metadata fields not required from all new check-in. content info, search etc. Then check in the metadata file and see if it has the hidden metadata fields showing.

you can exclude the unwanted fields completely than they won't display in the web location file.
