    About Our Client

    Our client is a privately held software and consulting firm based in Chicago. They primarily service large consulting and Fortune 100 firms to accelerate large scale data management projects. Their flagship service is used around the world and is highly recognized to reduce costs and time by at least 50%.

    Having recently moved into an office that is double the size, our client is looking for a tenacious and consultative leader to foster and develop relationships with major Enterprise accounts. Their client base includes: Deloitte, Accenture, E&Y.

    Job Description

    The Senior Business Development Executive will be focused on accelerating growth of enterprise consulting projects.

    • Proactively calling, networking, following up, and overall developing strategic partnerships with enterprise level executives
    • Identifying large scale projects for software implementation, software integration (SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc.)
    • Developing business development strategies to exceed revenue targets with existing and new channels
    • Keeping abreast of the market with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Fortune 100 firms and M&A activity
    The Successful Applicant

    The ideal Senior Business Development Executive will have:
    • Bachelor's degree is a must
    • At least 5-7 years of selling consulting services; enterprise business-to-business sales is required
    • Must have a confident hunting mentality with strong integrity
    • Experience selling services for software implementation or integration (SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards EQ, Informatica, DataStage, or other ETL tools, etc.)
    • Experience dealing with multi-year sales cycle with global roll outs (Projects are at least a year in duration)
    • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
    • Must be an autonomous self-starter with the desire to succeed and grow significantly
    • Must have an excellent network of executives in consulting services
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle is a Must.
