GL period open status "Error"

    Dear Guru's,

    While opening the GL Period, the status is shown as completed with error. (in Red Color).. Could u please explain how to solve this issue..

    Simples!!!!!!!!! Get the log file of the request and upload to your post. I will take a look and tell you how to go about it.

    My Friend,

    Query the Calendar and define new periods. Open the latest period and start processing. Once done update us. You can open a bottle of wine after getting a bottle. Else its a waste of time.

    I queried the Accounting Calender, and define new periods, while validating the request, it is completed with warning (yellow color).

    Are you able to process transactions in the latest open period. I do not think this message will make any difference. Warning messages for environment variables is absolutely fine.
