Form personalization - not possible to execute a query

    Dear all,

    Could you please help a little?

    I have created the following form personalization:
    In the Account Receivables module (apps version is 11.5.10.2) from 'Account Details' form I have created zoom to 'Customer Standard' form.
    Depending on customer number in the 'Account Details' form, the needed customer is selected in the 'Customer Standard' form. I can navigate to the 'Addresses' tab in the 'Customer Standard' form without any issues. In that tab I need to select the correct Bill to address and I am unable to do so. The form rests in query mode all the time or the form is hanging.

    Could you please tell what I do wrong?

    Rule Seq: 70
    • Trigger Event: WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE
    • Trigger Object: ADDR
    • Condition: :GLOBAL.XX_TEST IS NOT NULL
    • Processing Mode: Not in Enter-Query Mode

    Actions Seq: 10
    • Builtin Type: DO_KEY
    • Argument: ENTER_QUERY

    Rule Seq: 80
    • Trigger Event: WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE
    • Trigger Object: ADDR
    • Condition: :GLOBAL.XX_TEST IS NOT NULL
    • Processing Mode: Both
    • Context: User and set the value to my user name

    Actions Seq: 10
    • Type: Property
    • Object Type: Item
    • Target Object: ADDR.CONCATENATED_ADDRESS
    • Property Name: VALUE
    • Value: =:GLOBAL.XX_TEST

    This global variable selects the needed address

    Actions Seq: 20
    • Type: Builtin
    • Builtin Type: DO_KEY
    • Argument: EXECUTE_QUERY

    • Actions Seq: 30
    • Type: Property
    • Object Type: Global Variable
    • Target Object: XX_TEST
    • Property Name: VALUE
    • Value: =NULL

    Form remains in query mode. Please see the attachment how it looks. All customer data was replaced.

    If I use Trigger Event: WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE, then the form is hanging.

    Please help!!!

    Sorry i haven't tried it out, but i would suggest trying one rule and one action at a time and verifying if it is working. It's very difficult to pinpoint the issue without trying it out.

    Hi,
    I faced a simmilar problem. What i did was the following. See if it helps

    1) WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE - Set query mode
    2) WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE - GO-BLOCK & EXECUTE-QUERY
    3) WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE - SET VALUE OF ITEM AND EXECUTE.

    I hope this should work.
