Error report: No more data to read from socket

    I'm facing dis error while executing a PKG., Cud U addrz me wat's really the prblm here?!

    While executing many PKGS:

    1. ERROR REPORT:
    IO ERROR : Software caused connection abort : socket write error.

    While executing a single PKG:

    2. Error report:
    No more data to read from socket..

    It might be related to some connectivity issue. are you fetching data using any dblink?

    some times it might show because of end-of-file on communication channel.

    I believe you are using sql developer.

    some times if you use this from sq*plus you might get ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel.

    Once re-visit your code ...

    Vicky as it is a generic error relating to connectivity/process crashing you need to dig more on this.

    1)Check the server connectivity
    2) revisit your package code
    3) Take the trace and try to find the cause
