Difference b/w purchasing and iprocurement

    Hi Guru's,
    I wanna know , all the features and benefits are given in Iprocurement is already available in Purchasing , so why should client go for iprocurement .
    And can you give exact benefits of iprocurement .

    1. Licensing cost for iProc users are very less compared to Core purchasing license. Also bundled users will allow give access to more # of PR request users.
    2. User friendly Self Service application.
    3. Support for external Supplier catalog and even external supplier site using punch out.
    4. More advanced features such as Stores Security, Item /Category security, Smart forms, Content Zones, Image Upload support, Similar like Online shopping,etc.
    5. Very user friendly UI and almost zero training needed or max 3 hours of training or online training content can be given.
    6. Complete View of PR till Payment for the PR initiation users.

    Above are high level and there are huge advantages using iProcurement in the place of Core Purchasing.

    Thank you for your response , good explanation about iprocurement , i know about purchasing and shopping category mapping but for bulk category mapping how to perform it .
