    Hello everyone.

I'm searching for remote database replication solution for Oracle Database Standard Edition.
I know there are suitable ways of solving this problem on Linux (rsync + rman), but what can you recommend to use on Windows 2003 R2?
    Some thirdparty solutions?

    Regards,
    Tohan.

You shouldn't need third party solutions; read here:

This solution is for Linux/Unix. I'm on Windows.
And as I know with scripts it is quite difficult to monitor the process of log delivery and application.

    Hi tohanus,

One popular third-party solution is Dbvisit Standby.
Works on Linux, Unix and Windows, and has a nice web-based GUI (as well as command line) interface.
Has a nice feature-set like role reversal and create standby database functionality.

    cheers,
