    I have just started working on Forms , I have developed 4 forms but I want to create a user log in that will give access to those forms. After creating login table with two columns username and password I get the following error
    "FRM-32086: Bind Variable :pASSWORD parse failed at <PASSWORD>.
    FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output."

    May you please assist

    Please put threads in the proper forum.

    Since you haven't posted any code it's really impossible for anyone to assist you. Post your forms code so others can see your work and possibly spot any problems.

    I am trying to create a login form using 11q oracle forms builder. I have a table "login" with two columns "username" and "pswd".
    I have done the following code on the smart trigger
    DECLARE
    CURSOR login_cursor IS
    SELECT userNAME,
    PSWD
    FROM login;
    username_var login.username%TYPE;
    PSWD_var login.pswd%TYPE;
    login_flag BOOLEAN := FALSE;
    BEGIN
    OPEN login_cursor;

    <<check_records>>
    LOOP
    FETCH login_cursor INTO username_var, PSWD_var;

    IF( :username = username_var
    AND assword = PSWD_var ) THEN
    --Message('You are successfully loged In');
    -- GO_BLOCK('BLOCK8.CANVAS147');
    Message('You are successfully loged In',acknowledge);

    ----- go_item('BLOCK8.t1');
    --show_view('CANVAS147');

    Message('Message Ater :Logged In',acknowledge);
    login_flag := TRUE;

    exit check_records;
    END IF;

    EXIT WHEN login_cursor%NOTFOUND;
    END LOOP;

    CLOSE login_cursor;

    IF( NOT login_flag ) THEN
    Message('INVALID LOGIN');
    END IF;

    clear_form;
    END;
    go_item('BLOCK8.t1');

    Trying to compile I get the following error

    "
    FRM-32086: Bind Variable :pASSWORD parse failed at <PASSWORD>.
    FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
    "
    May you please assist

    Hi ,

    In which block username and password items are exist??
    You can't use :username ,:password directtly. you should have to use as :<block_name>.item_name

    Ex;--- :XX_LOGIN_BLK.username
