    Hi everybody,

I have some problem to configure listener.ora file

On a Windows server , I have two instances : TEST and PROD
For exploitation reasons I must have 2 distincts listeners.
The first one, names LISTENER and listen on port 1521 : The configuration is in dynamic mode.
The second one, names LISTENER_PROD and listen on port 1522 : The configuration is in static mode because i use for RMAN.

I have set the local_listener parameter on PROD instance with (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL =TCP)(HOST = xxxxx.xxxx.xxxx)(PORT=1522))
The comand tnsping PROD is OK.
But when i try to connect to PROD instance with the command sqlplus scott/tiger@PROD ....... no response at all

Can you help me please ?

    Thanks a lot

What does lsnrctl services report for LISTENER_PROD? Until we see this information it's nearly impossible to say why you can't connect.
