    You can use the f60gen utility to compile forms

    The syntax of the f60gen command is as follows

    Code (Text):

    f60gen module=<source fmb file> userid=APPS/<APPS password> output_file=<executable fmx file name> module_type=form batch=yes compile_all=special

    For example if suppose I want to generate a form called example.fmb. You should place the fmb under the AU Top

    open putty or any other tool you use to connect to the server and navigate to the folder under AU top where the forms are located.

    Code (Text):

    $cd $AU_TOP/forms/US

    $f60gen module= example.fmb module_type=form output_file=$APPL_TOP/gl/forms/US/OEXOEORD.fmx userid=APPS/APPS module_type=form batch=yes compile_all=special

    here i am putting the fmx output of the form under the GL directory. Under the APPL_TOP you will have all your product folders. Put the fmx file under your required folder.

    Hope this helped :)

    Hi Sadik,

    I am unable to compile form through putty using following command:-

    f60gen module=JAIRGMMT.fmb output_file=$JA_TOP/forms/US/JAIRGMMT.fmx
    userid=apps/<apps_pwd>

    Whie compilation time below error message is getting in putty

    -bash: f60gen: command not found

    Is possible to compile the form through putty?
